The Barbour Group, LLC and Anderson & Catania Surety Services, LLC are Joining
Effective January 1, 2018, The Barbour Group, LLC and Anderson & Catania Surety Services, LLC entered into an exclusive collaborative Joint Venture to share our combined resources. No ownership changes occurred with our respective agencies. The synergy of this joint venture creates a Fortune 500-type level of service for our clientele as we now have 40 surety markets to provide the best and most competitive solutions. Our commercial insurance division will now service two agencies and bring a one-stop access point to all our clients. The combined years of experience in surety now exceed 100 years. With the decades of friendship our agencies share, we know our exclusive joint venture relationship will bring a lot of fun, excitement, and positive energy into the servicing of our clients and markets.
It is unfortunate that this arrangement caused redundancy with some of our employees. Sadly, the positions that Debby Nash, VP of Operations and Luann Oregon, Senior Surety Bond Specialist held, were eliminated. It was not an easy decision to make.
Some new names that you may see on your emails for administrative purposes are Rich Anderson, Joe Catania, Gina Pepe and Denise Medlar.
